I see, I live, and I desire a “MAN SHIFT”

I live in a world of humans, who live for war and glory;
I live in a world of humans, who everyday rise with a new story,

I see people fight for their perceptions and belief,
And in turn I see them ruin others relief,

I see bloodshed in the name of brotherhood,
While, I see other millions dying due to dearth of food,

I see the diplomatic gains people make out of the dead,
And I find them overlooking the intensifying threat,

I see the pain in the eyes of mothers,
Who lost their children in wars-fighting for others,

I see an old father wishing for his extremist son’s comeback,
And I see his grief on knowing that his son did another hijack,

I see the hatred, the anger and the egos grown,
And I see the continuous insecurities of things unknown,

Is this what makes us the superior-most; “MANKIND”?
Or it’s just that we have flawlessly learnt the play of acting “Blind”?

Then, I see the other side of the world, with happy and smiling faces,
The world of my dreams, with people together from all races,

Where I own a garden of fruits and flowers,
That remains open for everyone, at all hours,

Where houses don’t need fences or locks,
And help arrives before a problem knocks,

Where no one asks your hierarchy or name,
And no one has the lust for heaven or fame,

Where no one leads no one and, no one sits on the throne,
Where everyone believes in “Live and let live”, and can manage on his own,

Will my world remain a dream forever?
It’s not a “One man task”; it requires us Humans to be together.

Should we wait for another calamity to change the world...another "Polar shift"?

Or move a step, enrich our living, and create a "MAN SHIFT”?
