The night was dark, the moon was high,
Just then an angel appeared, so svelte, so shy…
She looked towards me and stopped ahead,
As I stood watching her, with all my senses dead
She asked me for a dance; I said I’ll try,
It happened so wonderfully that I got jubilant with joy.
We went for a walk, which was long years,
And by her magical conversations, she vanished all my fears…
Then the moment came when she said she’ll have to leave,
I heard her words clearly, but didn’t want to believe.
I tried to encumber her… I asked her to stay…
But she was bound to leave and didn’t stop in any way.
I said "I need you, without you I’ll die…"
But my words fell on deaf ears, and she started to fly…
I ran, I shouted… and opened my eyes with a scream…
Just to find that all that happened, was just another dream.
Thinking about yesterday, In my bed I lie…
Watching the dazzling stars in the sky…
I feel I knew her, I don’t know why,
And I would love to have that dream once more,
Just to bid her "Goodbye"…

Are you really busy?
Do you have the time to think about your life?
Or you simply live like a dead man alive?
Do you watch the rain, the glittering stars, the vivid sky and the smiling sun?
Or just sit in an AC room with a wired electronic display, a cup of brewed caffeine, and miss all the fun?
Do you hear nature’s music, the giggles of children, and the sounds of silence?
Or you crib on the share market, the government and the never-ending violence?
Do you roam on the roads at dark, ride on high gears, and chat with ol’ friends?
Or you simply lay in you bed, reading the latest mag on the market trends?
Do you take your girl on a date, eat on streets, and shop generously?
Or save your money for future and the inflation rate growing so tremendously?
Do you visit your parents, listen to their stories and have a hearty laugh?
Or cancel your tickets and give them reasons for not getting an off?
Is this the life you always dreamt for?
Or just an illusion of success, where you strive for your bread as if in a war?
Life is too short my friend, so enjoy every moment as if it’s the last one. Love people, connect and rise to newer horizons.
Cherish the memories of ones who loved and cared for you, and don’t change with the changing seasons…
